A Taste of History

A tour through the heart of the ultra-orthodox neighborhoods of Jerusalem during preparation for Shabbat. Through the pashkevils (wall posters) , the charity boxes and the unique clothes, we will get to know the ultra-Orthodox way of life and its nuances, and learn about the evolution of hamin/cholent, how it evolved  throughout history, and how different Jewish ethnic groups prepare different hamin. kugel and hamin tasting and visiting a local bakery.
