Throughout history, Muslims have settled in Jerusalem from various places in the world. Sometimes they preserved their heritage and sometimes they assimilated into the local Arab Muslim population. Every community has its own exciting history and special places. We will learn about the Moroccans, Africans, Sufis, gypsies, Indians among others. Sites included are: at-Takiyyah Ascent, Al-Wad St, Bab Hutta St, Salahiyya, Herod’s Gate, al Saadiya neighborhood and more.
