MONOCOLOR - Sentient Ocean
Sentient Ocean is an audiovisual live performance which was inspired by the intelligent ocean on the planet Solaris described in the novel by Stanisław Lem of the same title. The essence of the project is to create a fluid, ever-changing audiovisual experience that allows the audience to immerse themselves in sound and image. Both audio and video are generated in real time, existing between what is natural and what is synthesized. Loosely referring to Lem's work, the project touches upon topics such as emergence, systems theory, identity and the relationship between machine and nature.
MAOTIK x Maarten Vos - - Erratic Weather
Despite the skepticism of some world leaders, climate change is a reality. Over the past few years, our generation has begun to see the effects and consequences of this change, where we are witnessing violent and unpredictable climate phenomena. Erratic Weather is a digital art project that aims to represent changing and unpredictable atmospheric conditions for an immersive audio-visual experience. During the performance, the system uses various sources of weather information retrieved from an online database and processed in real time. Using the life cycle of natural phenomena such as typhoons, hurricanes and tropical cyclones that demonstrate the destructive power of nature and the burning need to preserve it into a comprehensive visual and sound composition.
Danielle Ljungsberg x NAAVI
Daniela Ljungsberg's music is mainly based on digital arrangements of field recordings, which are accompanied by synthesizers and vocals. Most of the musical practice that Daniela uses is based on concrete music, but due to the nature of the recordings and the musical material played, she also ranges from ambient noise to pop-folk and country songs
It seems that many of Daniela's arrangements of pop-folk songs draw part of their harmonic depth as well as the feeling of nostalgia and sadness, from the creators of psychedelic dream pop and the hauntological current such as the legendary band Broadcast
Daniella’s show will be accompanied by the Visual artist NAAVI. The founder of INFIMENSIONS studio defines himself as a navigator and artist on a voyage through dimensions of design, light and motion; visionary & generative; in spaces & on screens.
